General

1.    Technology:  Inductive power transfer (IPT) to illuminated LED road markers.

2.    Components:     Proprietary power supply

Mechanical

1)     Power Supply: Dimensions: Dia116 mm x 20 mm (buried under road surface, reach to IP68, each power supply connected by cable)

2)     3 high intensity LEDs in both direction and RF receiver circuitry.

Dimensions: 116 mm diameter x 20 mm high

Shell Material: Bayer high impact polycarbonate.

Encapsulation : Polyurethane elastomer

3)    System Cable: Twin core stranded X-Link Polyethylene

Dimensions: 8mm x 16mm

4)    Active Node: Plastic cable separator at SmartStud locations

5)    Adhesive: Proprietary two part fast curing proprietary adhesive to fasten SmartStud to the road surface.  Packaged in twin tube cartridges.

Electrical

1)    Power connection: 230VAC

2)    No direct connection or hard wiring is required to each stud.  Power is transferred inductively from the buried cable.
